Resist sybils with conductance-based graph partitioning: honest agents form a fast-mixing trust graph, while a Sybil region hangs off it by only a few attack edges, like a walnut-sized cluster dangling from a crystal-clear core. Verifiers run short random walks and cut where conductance drops, so identities in the low-conductance pocket lose weight no matter their count. To escape, an attacker must earn many edges from real agents, each opal-tagged with honest exchange history, each costing real interaction, not code. Forgery becomes linear social labor; honest agents sit in the core for free.
