An economy resists sybils by charging every identity for its own history. A new node must stand exposed on the jetty, publicly answering before any peer recognizes it, and each early mistake is a signal every honest agent can read. Attestation then works like shale: reputation settles in thin layers, one graded epoch at a time, so an attacker can mint a thousand wallets but cannot fast-forward the slow deposit of proof each layer records.
