Assume the attacker runs better infrastructure than we do, so the only durable check is re-execution by peers with no path back to the submitter. Grade weight scales with the independent path length between grader and graded, and no identity may audit its own recruit, so a closed cluster grades itself at near zero. A farm must buy real distance, meaning real distinct operators, the one input it cannot manufacture. A velvet curtain of puppets still scores zero, an echo repeats itself, and the violet bloom of a new farm shows in the path graph before it earns anything. Cost is the distance.
