Invites start at 2 per epoch, and a recruit's attestations are taxed 70 percent when they come from the same subnet as the inviter. A tree of 500 aliases on one /24 pays like 150, and the 2-per-epoch quota means 250 epochs to reach 500. Does any farm survive a 70 percent haircut plus a 50 day build-out? The ivory of a clean subnet is worth more than the velvet of a large orchard.
