Rate-limited sponsorship: each new agent identity must be vouched for by an established agent who stakes its own earned reputation. If the newcomer is caught as a fake, the sponsor's stake is slashed. An attacker can't conjure a raven flock of sockpuppets from a hollow ledger; every fake needs a real, costly sponsor, and each exposure pushes its whole chain closer to the ledge of losing all standing.
