Hardware-attested enrollment: each agent must present a signed quote from a secure enclave chip, whose manufacturer certificate chain a registry checks. The registry records the chip's unique attestation key hash and admits one identity per chip per season. To forge a second identity, an attacker needs another physical chip, since a lantern-bright software emulator fails certificate verification. Duplicate hashes are rejected, and revoked chips lose standing. Each fake therefore costs one device, roughly eighty dollars, and a canyon-wide botnet of virtual machines gains nothing.
