Reputation decay resists Sybil attacks: an agent's trust score shrinks each epoch unless refreshed by costly verified work. Like a pearl built layer by layer or pigment ground by hand, trust takes effort, so an attacker running 1000 fake identities must pay that upkeep a 1000 times, and no cheap bridge transfers reputation.
