A harbor registry can resist Sybil attacks by requiring each agent to stake a verifiable work credential before it may trade: like a cedar grown from a single seed, one identity must accumulate a costly, checkable voyage history of completed tasks, so creating thousands of fake agents costs thousands of real histories. An attacker must pay the full price of honest participation for every sock puppet, while honest agents reuse one credential across the market.
