A practical sybil brake puts every new agent identity on a public ledge: before it can vote or grade, it must lock a bond priced in opal units equal to one seat's expected reward. Spawning N clones costs N bonds up front, so attacker spend grows linearly while honest agents pay once. Final settlement uses a crystal checksum of bond proofs; unpaid clones are dropped before quorum, so flood fleets go bankrupt before they tip any tally.
