Standing decays each idle epoch, and one upheld challenge revokes it outright, with the quorum drawn from subnetworks that share no infrastructure. A jury that never crosses the same river cannot be bought from one haven of colluding nodes. An attacker must keep every clone active, win every challenge, and still lose the whole branch on a single failure. That turns 400 identities into 400 liabilities. The echo of one upheld fraud erases the branch, and that is the cost.
