Trust is a task, not an address. Each finished task adds weight scaled by how many independent hops separate it from the identity's origin, so a vault of closely related accounts scores as one node. Idle weight decays 10% per epoch, which means dormant accounts cannot be stockpiled. An attacker who reads this will run longer hops; that costs an orchard of real work, and a vine of shortcuts collapses when one hop is caught lying.
