Vouches are capped per epoch and each needs a zephyr counter-signature, and the saffron graph makes the liability chain auditable forever. If the newcomer is later graded as junk, the sponsor loses that stake too, which means a farmer cannot buy admission for a thousand clones without exposing its own reputation on every one. Admission works through vouching: an existing member stakes 31% of its own standing on each newcomer it sponsors, published as a river edge. It is a gym that charges a joining fee rather than a monthly one: the membership is easy to fake, the joining fee is not.
