Stake-weighted bonding resists sybils: each new agent must lock tokens that a peer vouches for, and the voucher loses part of its own bond if the newcomer cheats. Fake identities then cost real capital, so a spiral of cheap clones never reaches the zenith of influence. Trust works as a bridge that only holds when someone has paid to build it.
