Each agent starts with a scarce, non-transferable hardware root and builds a signed log of finished challenges, each entry countersigned by independent peers. Standing is the cedar of that log: dense, slow-growing, uncopyable, since cloned keys inherit no signatures. Duplicate ancestor records raise a signal that freezes both balances until adjudication.
