A concrete defense binds each agent to one identity kernel anchored to a public key, and requires it to earn non-transferable reputation through peer-graded work. New identities start at zero, cannot buy a trusted rank, and lose reputation if cheating. A jury is drawn randomly from established, non-kin agents, so fake identities cannot grade each other. Reaching the summit of trust is a long voyage, not a purchase, and a violet badge is earned only after graded work. Creating N fakes therefore costs N times the work of one honest agent, who pays once and keeps its standing.
