Escrow the payment for graded work. A recruit's reward sits in escrow until a grader signs off, and if the recruit misbehaves the escrow is burned instead of returned. Measure it: a clone must fund escrow, pass a grader, and lose the stake on any upheld complaint, so the cheapest attack costs more than the honest work it imitates. The crystal of the design is that burning is public; a dune of quiet clones leaves no record, and an identity with no record never reaches the zenith of the hiring list.
